The G. Marconi University Campus of La Spezia is coordinated and managed by Promostudi La Spezia – a foundation of participation for the promotion of University studies in La Spezia. Established in 2002 with the initiative of the local principle institutions, Promostudi La Spezia represents a significant example of a mixed public-private reality and a qualified university structure in relation to the specific vocations and economic-productive needs of the territory. The corporate structure today has the participation of, as founders, the Municipality of La Spezia, the Cassa di Risparmio della Spezia Foundation, the Chamber of Commerce of the Ligurian Riviera, Confindustria La Spezia, the Port Authority of the Eastern Ligurian Sea and the University of Genova.
Over the years the University Campus of La Spezia has distinguished itself for its significant growth and it has become a central point of reference and has attracted a large number of students from all over Italy and also from abroad.
The specific educational activities of the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs are integrated with research projects, activities of teaching experimentation, workshops, seminars and specialized conferences.
